Kind People Card from the Seattle Regional Convention

Here is another card from Regionals using the Soft Summer Stamp set currently in the Occasions Mini. This is a really nice stamp set which uses the Two Step Stampin' technique. Since we were using the watercolor technique, we used StazOn pad to stamp the image before doing the watercolor. Doing this keeps the ink from bleeding when you watercolor.

Until I had a chance to work with this stamp set, I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I have. I actually won this set at the Regional Convention when they did a drawing at the end of the day. It was so much fun to go home with a stamp set I didn't have.

The layout for this card is very simple and basic. The ribbon nicely breaks up the page without adding more paper and layers. You could get a similar effect by simply using a strip of textured card stock or designer series paper.

Here is your supply list:

  • Soft Summer Stamp Set
  • Confetti Cream card stock
  • Ruby Red card stock
  • Watercolor paper
  • Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Jet Black StazOn pad
  • More Mustard Stampin' Write marker
  • Old Olive Stampin' Write marker
  • Ruby Red Stampin' Write marker
  • Chocolate Chip 5/8" grosgrain ribbon
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Aqua Painter
